Photographic Portraits & Yard Visits
A non refundable charge of £25 is required to book a yard visit/portrait session. The photography session should take about an hour. If there are a few people in the yard who want pictures taken the session will last longer (this may also mean less time per person). Please state when booking how many people will be taking part in the session.
Portrait session images are NOT available to buy in JPEG format.
All photographic portraits are offered in gloss prints (including large poster sizes), print on canvas and the option of your own personal online gallery.
Q) How many pictures will you take?
A) As many as is needed!
The initial shoot will be reviewed and the best made available for viewing and ordering on the official Thomas Hargreaves website. Please choose the size and image name and contact us with your selection.
On the day of the visit
Please make sure your horse is clean and has clean tack. If you want pictures of flatwork or jumps please ensure the arena / field is tidy (this makes the pictures much nicer) and any jumps required should be built. Obviously your horse will look its best on a nice sunny day but good results can be obtained even in rain. If the weather is forecast to be very bad please ring the evening before and we can arrange a different date if necessary.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel please let us know the evening before at the very latest. Any cancellations that occur after we have travelled to your location but before any photographs have been taken will be charged plus any extra mile charges previously agreed. Commencement of photography is considered acceptance of the commission and will be charged at the full package rate.
